Last year, Miles was invited to a filmmaking retreat in Dingwall, Nova Scotia, by his good friend and collaborator Ann Lupo. An amazing editor/director, Ann pulled together a group of strangers who quickly became close personally and professionally. Three short films were made over ten days, along with some smaller projects and a lot of skinny dipping, oyster picking, and mountain climbing.

Miles is thrilled to have been invited back for the second (now, annual) retreat, along with dear friends Luke Fontana (photographer) and Nadine Martinez (director of photography) who were part of the original crew. He is also happy to welcome former classmate/current friend Abigail Wahl (actor) to the retreat.

They leave the night of October 7th and will make their triumphant return on October 20th. Phone and internet will be in short supply, so please be patient.

Cowardly, but not a lion.

While at Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF) this summer, Miles was featured in a reading of his dear friend Kati Schwartz's new play, "The Coward".

A dark comedy about summerstock theatre, "The Coward" will make its New York reading debut this week; and Miles will be reprising his read of the antagonist, Cassandra. A young woman. Don't read into it, it's not a concept.

The reading is Thursday, September 25th, at The Bridge black-box at Shetler Studios (244 W. 54th St., 12th floor). Showtime is 8:30pm. Free admission and free wine.

Miles has been lucky enough to already be collaborating with Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF) colleagues back in New York.

Come see him as several creeps in a workshop of Molly Beach Murphy's new comedy "H2O Pool at the San Luis Hotel" directed by Katie Lindsay (WTF '14). Taking a look at cocktail waitressing in 2007 in Galveston, Texas, the workshop also features Caroline Gart, Mariah Lee (WTF '14), Erin Frisbee, and Colleen Wilson.

Shows are Thursday (9/18) and Friday (9/19) nights at 9pm as part of the New Light Theater Project's Darkroom Series 6.

WTF happened to me.

Miles just returned from an amazing summer at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

In the 2014 Fellowship he played the Vampire, Securitate, Priest and seven other roles in Caryl Churchill's "Mad Forest" under the direction of Lila Neugebauer.

In the Fridays@3 Reading Series he was featured in the role of Jake in a reading of Joshua Leonard and Rebecca Lowman's screenplay "Behold My Heart" — featuring Rick Holmes and Mia Barron.

In the Directing Intern Projects, Miles played opposite Lindsey Steinert as Mitch in Jonathan Caren's "The Ascent" under the direction of Ivey Lowe.
