Same man, new film.

Welp, it’s been about six months since Miles’s last A24 film. Time for another.

A Different Man, written and directed by Aaron Schimberg, is about as dark as dark comedy gets. And it’s delicious.

The film follows an aspiring actor who undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.

While not the aspiring actor in question, Miles plays a fellow aspiring actor, opposite hero and fellow Jersey boy Sebastian Stan. The film also stars Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World) and Adam Pearson (Chained For Life).

A Different Man hits theaters in New York and LA on September 20th, nationwide on October 4th. See you there.
