This ain't Texas.
This is Kansas!
Miles is thrilled to be bringing Majkin Holmquist’s Stargazers to the stage this spring after workshopping it last winter. Produced by Page 73 and directed by Collette Robert, Stargazers centers around a grieving mother who contemplates selling her Kansas farm—guided, she says, by the ghost of her daughter. While her ex-husband and neighbors fight to keep the land, an East Coast developer hopes to build a progressive utopia that would alter the landscape forever. It’s a gorgeous, spooky script and funnier than you would think.
The rockstar cast includes Kelly McAndrew (The Thin Place), Andrew Garman (The Holdovers), Lizzy Brooks (Macbeth), Baize Buzan (To Kill a Mockingbird), Fernando Gonzalez (Skinnamarink), and Keren Lugo (Privacy). Miles plays Casey, a soulful farmer, and Jim, a coastal pioneer (everyone’s boyfriends).
Previews for Stargazers begin 4/8. Opening is 4/20 (blaze it). Closing is 5/10.
